On February 23rd, 2022, at about 2:08 am, Claremont Police Officers responded to a suspicious dark colored SUV in the shopping center parking lot located in the 600 block of East Foothill Blvd. As Officers arrived, the vehicle left westbound on Foothill Blvd., at a high rate of speed. The suspects were able to elude capture.
Officers discovered shattered glass doors and windows at Lucky’s Coffee Roasters, Blue Fin Sushi and Teriyaki, and Magnolia Bistro and Wine Bar. Store video surveillance showed two suspects breaking into the businesses. They were wearing dark colored clothing, hooded sweatshirts, masks, and gloves.
