Commercial Burglary at Wine & Liquor Market


On October 5th, 2022, at about 4:54 am, Claremont Police Officers responded to 750 S. Indian Hill Blvd (Wine & Liquor Market), regarding a commercial burglary in progress. The business owner contacted the Claremont Police Department to advise he was viewing the live internal surveillances cameras and saw two suspects burglarizing the business. Upon the officer’s arrival, they conducted their investigation and discovered the unknown suspects had fled the location prior to arrival. Officers searched the area; however, the suspects were not located.


After reviewing the surveillance footage, officers saw two suspects, at 4:51 am, use a Sawzall to cut through the front security gate. After the gate was cut, they used an unknown tool to smash the front glass door. Once inside, the suspects stole an unknown amount of cash from the registers. Both suspects then ran out the front door to a vehicle, which was parked on San Jose Ave.


The investigation is ongoing, however, the exact property loss at this time is unknown.


The suspects are described as follows: Male, 5'8”-6’00”, average build, wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, face masks, gloves, and dark-colored pants.
