On November 4, 2022, at about 6:08 am, Claremont Police Officers responded to 370 W. Second St (Village Market), regarding a commercial burglary. Once the Officers arrived on scene, they conducted their investigation and determined a burglary had occurred. It was revealed that during the night, the suspect(s) smashed a window to the front of the business, entered inside and stole an unknown amount of Lottery scratchers. The suspect(s) fled the location with the property in a newer model Honda.
The suspects were described as two Hispanic males, wearing dark clothing and face masks.
