On September 13, at 11:35 PM, Claremont Police Officers responded to a burglary alarm at Hendricks Pharmacy (137 Harvard Ave.). At the time of the call, an officer was conducting extra patrol in the Village and arrived within seconds of being dispatched and discovered the glass to the front door had been smashed. It was learned that the actual alarm activation occurred 4 minutes prior to the alarm company calling CPD. Officers conducted an interior search and checked the area around the business, but the suspect had fled prior to the officers’ arrival. It appears that the suspect entered the business and stole a soda/energy drink.
